I have all xhorse tools
I really like xhorse. Bmw tool was released before full development but if you ask me it's worth buying. It has gd worth comparing to cost and they are working on it and developing. I tried it its really user frndly

possibile to write ISN to CAS4+ from another car after exchange? Because for now, after loading a dump, inputing ISN and saving, new dump still has got old ISN

normally we change CAS4+ just exchange the 5M48H processor, read eeprom and flash write to a used one.

if its CAS4 5M48h, or supported CAS3/CAS3++ OBD support just reading eeprom for making keys

Vvdi Bmw tool have function CODING. Do you coding only CAS module or CODING and other module? Example FRM, AIRBAG and other?

Got the tool and for now I did two keys - one for E63 CAS2 and second for E87 CAS2. Both without problem, 3-4 minutes job.
I've read ISN from MSD80 from 2008 E92 335i US. Not thru OBD port, but by doing little harness on bench like in diagram.

Looks like a very useful must have tool, but I have some questions about VVDI BMW:
1) What is VVDI2 able to do, that VVDI BMW cannot do?
2) Has erasing 8HP GEARBOX ISN been tested and confirmed working or it will be only avaliable in the future?
2.1) If YES, then does it work through OBD or similarly to CDGI via direct connection to GEARBOX plug?

VVDI2 is not only for BMW, but also VAG, PSA, Porshce and transponder programmer function for other makes by loading dump.
VVDI BMW is for BMW immo, coding and programming only.

VVDI2 and VVDI BMW tool are different tools. Cannot add F-series coding feature to VVDI2.
If you need to do F-series coding, a simple ENET E-sys cable is recommended.
