I purchased this VVdi Key tool from UHS Hardware in United States
I had trouble connecting device to computer.
no splash screen to say what language or version
only main menu top left v1.2.8
my pc system:
Windows 8.1Pro 64 bit
Finally figured out to properly connect I needed FTDI Uart drivers.
I followed the steps on this website:

Device connected ok update to
KeyTool1Update v2.3.9.exe
firmware version 2.0.2
Hardware version 1.1
Please update blog with this procedure.

Now next concern:

now updated but top left says ME
I am not in Middle East i am in USA.
what is difference? do I need return to seller?
In reading Xhorse from US seller should be what version?
US-en or NA-en I am confused.
I need support for American US cars (United States)

can I clone using blank replacement transponders or remotes from oem?
Or must I only use of Xhorse universal remotes and chips?
want to replace cn900 but do not want to be forced to use only propietery chips. thanks

I have got VVDI KEY TOOL it is ME-EN version (middle east English Language version)
I personally live in EUROPE - my question is: is the middle east version different from EU version? functionality or vehicle support differs?

The ME-EN version and EU version no big difference.
Most supported car list are the same, only few supported list not the same.

Sorry to tell you that Xhorse tech does not allow users to change/update VVDI key tool from Chinese to English. Chinese machine only sold to China market and English abroad. We will not sell the Chinese version to our foreign customers.

Chinese version vvdi key tool can only available  in China. Our website don't selling chinese version.


Engineer said Chinese version can not update to English. Pls contact your seller to return back to exchange English one.
